WHO WE SERVE
AND WHERE WE MAKE AN IMPACT!
Stranded Superstars!
We work with students, typically 14–15 years old, entering Grade 9. These are students who stand out for their personal drive, their commitment to helping others, and their hunger to learn and grow — but they face obstacles that block their potential. We call them Stranded Superstars because, without the right support, their talent risks being left behind.
Where We Work
WISE operates across the USA, Africa, and Europe through local partners and communities. Whether it’s a WISE participant in Inglewood, California, or a rural village in Ghana, we tailor our approach to meet local realities while staying true to our global mission, ensuring every student receives meaningful, personalized, and culturally relevant support.
When We Step In
Each academic year, WISE applications open for incoming freshmen, marking the start of their four-year journey, integrated into their high school “Earn to Learn” experience.
Purpose & Impact
Our mission is to build resilience, teamwork, and ambition while guiding ‘Stranded Superstars’ to excel in school, thrive in life, and grow into socially responsible global citizens and changemakers.
MEET SOME OF OUR STRANDED SUPERSTARS
Meet Dalila Hernandez: A Rising WISE Superstar

Dalila Hernandez is completing her second year in our JKL-WISE Scholarship Program and has quickly become a standout. Passionate about marine biology, she volunteers at the Aquarium of the Pacific, supporting conservation efforts and educating visitors. Over the summer, Dalila pushed herself academically by taking advanced math courses to prepare for future challenges.
Beyond her studies, she is deeply involved in her church, volunteering her time and working toward confirmation. Dalila’s dedication, compassion, and determination are truly inspiring. She shared how grateful she is for the WISE Scholarship and how it’s helping her pursue her dreams. We’re proud to support her journey.
Meet Agustin Estrada: A WISE Ambassador

Agustin Estrada is wrapping up his second year in our WISE Scholarship Program and continues to impress us all. With a 4.0 GPA, strong extracurricular involvement, and the distinction of being our first WISE participant to take an AP course, Agustin has set a high bar for himself. Over the past two years, he has pushed beyond personal fears, even trying horseback riding, and shown relentless determination to grow.
Agustin dreams of a career in business and hopes to one day open a restaurant that makes healthy, affordable meals accessible to his community. We are proud to support Agustin and excited to see where his journey leads.
