We loved hosting an ice cream social for our WISE scholars at the Just Keep Livin’ Foundation in Los Angeles! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our scholars and their families, play games, answer questions about the WISE Scholarship Program, and enjoy some delicious ice cream together.
At WISE, we believe that learning and growth happen both inside and outside the classroom. Events like this give scholars a chance to build relationships, practice life skills, and engage with mentors in a relaxed, supportive environment. By connecting with peers, program leaders, and their families, WISE scholars strengthen the confidence, resilience, and community-mindedness that will help them succeed in school, careers, and beyond.
