Phoenix, Ariz. — The Steele Family Foundation’s WISE Scholarship Program is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Grand Canyon University (GCU), uniting two organizations dedicated to expanding access to higher education and empowering the next generation of leaders.
Through this collaboration, WISE Scholars will have the opportunity to explore diverse academic pathways and experience a supportive learning environment designed to help them thrive. GCU’s strong commitment to student success, workforce readiness, and innovative learning models aligns seamlessly with WISE’s mission, opening doors of opportunity for youth facing barriers to education. Additionally, GCU’s financial support helps offset the cost of scholarships provided by WISE, enabling the program to reach even more students in the future.
“This partnership represents another step forward in creating life-changing access to education for WISE scholars,” said Ryan Gurr, Corporate Development and Strategy Manager at WISE. “GCU’s mission-driven focus and commitment to workforce development directly align with our shared goal of expanding opportunity and impact for the next generation.”
As part of the partnership, GCU will host WISE Scholars during their junior year for Discover Day experiences on campus, designed to help students envision their futures and experience firsthand what’s possible through higher education.
WISE Scholars will benefit from tailored support as they navigate college readiness and postsecondary planning. GCU offers flexible degree options, including on-campus, evening, and online programs, with an emphasis on hands-on learning experiences that prepare graduates for meaningful careers.
“We are honored to partner with The Steele Family Foundation’s WISE Scholarship Program to create pathways to higher education,” said Noah Wolfe, Senior Director of Development at Grand Canyon University. “Together, we’re helping students not only access college but excel once they arrive.”
This partnership reflects The Steele Family Foundation’s ongoing commitment to fostering purposeful partnerships that make a lasting impact on youth and communities across North America.
