The WISE Scholarship Program was honored to join the LA Chargers for their Women in Sports Day at Training Camp.
The afternoon featured The Future is Female panel, hosted by ESPN’s Mina Kimes, with powerhouse voices from across the sports industry: Olympic medalist and USA Volleyball head coach April Ross, Ashley Kirby (Director of Talent Marketing at Excel Sports Management), Jessica Robertson (Co-Founder & CCO of Togethxr), and sports and entertainment executive Molly Carter.
Hearing these leaders share their career journeys, challenges, and advice was a powerful reminder of the importance of visibility, mentorship, and creating pathways for the next generation of women in sports — values at the heart of the WISE Scholarship Program. Through WISE, we provide students with mentorship, life-skills training, and opportunities to explore new experiences, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and purpose in every field they pursue.
Touring the Chargers’ stunning new facility at The Bolt made the day even more memorable. We left inspired, grateful for the invitation, and energized to continue championing opportunities for WISE scholars — and all young women — to thrive in sports, education, and beyond.
